Position Summary:      

This is for all Head and Assistant coaching positions for all Men and Women teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment of prospective student-athletes, running of practice sessions, game preparation, supervision of assistants, scheduling, purchasing of equipment, student-athlete development, and monitoring the academic status of student-athletes.
  • The head coach will also be responsible for working with athletics staff to support and uphold the philosophy, goals and mission of both the university and the YU athletics program.

Experience & Educational Background:

  • A commitment to knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
  • A minimum two years of collegiate coaching experience preferred, or three years at the high school or club level
  • Recruiting experience a plus

Skills & Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to establish good rapport and effective working relationships with student-athletes, coaches, staff and alumni
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule
