The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), a leading global humanitarian organization, is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the Executive Management of JDC-FSU. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a strategic thinker, dynamic project manager, and creative problem-solver to play a pivotal role in driving social change.

In this position, you will:

  • Support and be involved in strategic planning processes and implementation.
  • Support cross-divisional projects and operational excellence.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic processes and annual work plans.
  • Facilitate effective communication and create compelling content for executive use.
  • Foster collaboration across diverse teams and manage key priorities.
  • Streamline day-to-day operations and follow-up on action items and key priorities for the Executive Director.


What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree (MBA preferred) and 3+ years of experience in a similar or project management role, ideally in the nonprofit or international development sector.
  • Strong English communication and excellent writing skills (native-level) and fluency in Hebrew.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and a big-picture thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, with a passion for driving social impact.
  • The confidence to work closely with top executives and lead complex, multi-stakeholder processes.
  • Cross-cultural work capabilities.
