Engagement & Leadership Intern Fall 2021

National Council Of Jewish Women
Part-time
On-site
Washington, District of Columbia, United States

National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a 128-year-old legacy organization which exists to create a space where women* can come together to transform our world.

We are a multi-generational, grassroots movement made up of strong Jewish women and our allies. NCJW's 200,000+ advocates are present in all 50 states and Israel. Together, we are working to educate about, advocate for, and serve the needs of women, children, and families. Our approach is intentionally intersectional and consists of three pillars to affect change: education, advocacy, and community service.

*We recognize and appreciate that gender is expansive and language is often limiting. We are an inclusive home for advocates of all gender identities.

Intern Summary:

NCJW's Engagement & Leadership Department is pleased to offer internships. This is a great opportunity to learn first-hand about engagement, leadership development, event planning, and chapter-based grassroots advocacy, education, and community service. Applicants should possess a commitment to progressive change, racial justice, and working in a diverse environment.

Please note that the Fall/Winter internship can be entirely remote or in-person (when staff are working from the office) and that applicants from across the country are encouraged to apply.
