- Writing proposals, reports, and other types of donor documents in English, which include detailed descriptions of activities, services, and quantitative and financial data.
- Researching and collecting relevant materials in Hebrew and English from different units within The Jewish Agency.
- Ongoing contact with the Donor Relations and Community Relations Managers, and other FRD professionals, to customize the documents to the needs of the specific donors.
- Managing Hebrew to English translations and other writing-based needs.
- Reviewing and editing documents of FRD and Jewish Agency colleagues (peer review).
- Ongoing contact with the Israel and America-based FRD and marketing teams.
- BA in humanities or social sciences – required.
- BA in marketing/communication field – an advantage.
- Proven experience in writing proposals and reports in English – required.
- Ability to compose documents in English at the mother-tongue level – required.
- Ability to work with Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and an advantage to have knowledge of content management and CRM systems, such as SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Ability to research (for example, government statistics, historical data, etc.).
- Personality traits: Creative, able to provide diverse writing skills, high attention to detail, and ability to discern between essential and non-essential information. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills.
