Housekeeper

Position: Housekeeper
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 
                  Friday 8a.m.  - 7p.m., Saturday 8AM -  2 PM
Compensation:

• $30 per hour take home
• 54 hours per week: $1,620 take-home pay per week

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented housekeeper to join a household. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a kosher home but it is not required, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to assist in the kitchen. Trustworthiness, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to follow directions are essential. There are 2 adults and a 16 year old son living in the house.

The home is 5,200 sq. ft., spanning three floors and a basement.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home across three floors and a basement.
• Provide light assistance in the kitchen (not full meal preparation) and maintain a kosher kitchen environment.
• Screen visitors and handle phone calls as needed.
• Follow directions and adapt to family routines and preferences.
• Stay later on Fridays to assist with dinner clean-up and after lunch on Saturdays would be a huge plus.
• Support family routines, especially during Jewish holidays, with flexibility and sensitivity to cultural practices.

Requirements:

• Fluent English speaker; Spanish proficiency is preferred.
• Nice demeanor, trustworthy, and professional.
• Clear background check.
• Smart, proactive, and detail-oriented.

Schedule:

• Ability to work varying hours on Jewish holidays (dates will vary annually).
