Job Title: Life Connections Program Facilitator
Location: Federal Correctional Institution, Greenville, IL 62246
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and conduct programs and seminars aligned with the LCP’s core curriculum.
  • Provide religious instruction and counseling up to 30 sessions per week.
  • Track and report inmate community service hours.
  • Offer counseling to aid inmates in their transition.
  • Make Inmate Skills Development entries in the LCP database.
  • Foster relationships with diverse religious communities (Protestant, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Pagan, Buddhist, etc.).
  • Coordinate, account for, and track print and audio-visual resources for LCP staff and contractors.
  • Hold inmates accountable for meeting goals and requirements for program graduation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in religious studies, religious education, spiritual direction, psychology/counseling, criminology, or a related field.
  • Experience with transition training and facilitating groups.
  • Basic computing skills, including Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, scanner, and printer.
  • Preferred: Prior correctional experience working with adult offenders in a faith-based setting.
  • Ability to work with and teach diverse religious groups in a correctional setting.
  • Ability to develop and implement lesson plans.
  • Ability to track and manage resources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to hold inmates accountable.
  • Proof of qualifications and submission of a resume, educational documents, personal references, and an endorsement letter from a local religious organization required.
