SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Division Director Facilities Operations, the Manager of Environmental Services is responsible for all cleaning and sanitizing of the facilities of the Agency and its affiliates, purchasing of equipment, supplies and furnishings, and relocating of furnishing and equipment to accommodate programmatic changes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Provide administrative supervision of Environmental Services workers.
  2. Prepare schedules to accomplish regular cleaning and sanitation needs
  3.  Prepare schedules to respond to unusual and periodic programmatic needs of the Agency.
  4. Inventory and purchase supplies and equipment necessary for cleaning and sanitation of the facility.
  5. Purchase supplies and equipment to include competitive bidding and comparison-shopping.
  6. Ensure that records are kept regarding sanitation and equipment as required by regulatory bodies
  7. Responsible for maintaining food preparation and storage areas in compliance with Health Department and   licensing/accreditation standards.
  8. Ensure that Environmental Services Department responds to requests for routine and emergency support from programmatic departments.

OTHER DUTIES:
  1. Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
  2. All required trainings, certifications, and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  3. Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  4. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  5. Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education: High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. Experience:   At least 3 years of related work experience required.
  3. Licensure:  None.

    8. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate competence in utilizing Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions
  5. Other: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

  7.  Travel: Local travel is required across the many N.E. Ohio agencies to service the needs. Personal car mileage is reimbursed at Gov’t guidelines.
