Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a dynamic real estate development company based in Israel. The company specializes in urban renewal projects, and you will play a key role in managing the financial department and supporting the company's financial strategy and operations in a part-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the CFO, providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Manage financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and filed.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring clear and accurate reporting.
  • Supervise payroll processing and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
  • Collaborate with auditors and consultants for tax compliance and audits.
  • Suggest improvements to accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
  • Manage cash flow and monitor transactions to maintain financial health.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial insights.
  • Participate in due diligence for new real estate projects with the CEO.
  • Assist in preparing budget reports and forecasts.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or related field.
  • Qualified Israeli CPA.
  • Level 2 Bookkeeping qualification (Level 3 preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 training and at least 2 years in a large company, preferably in the financial or real estate sector.
  • Strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English.

  • Strong decision-making and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
