Description

JCC Greater Boston is seeking a Pilates Instructor who enjoys being part of a cohesive team. Are you passionate about helping clients meet their fitness goals? Are you someone who thrives on working with a diverse customer base, helping clients dealing with injuries? JCC Greater Boston in Newton, MA is looking for a part-time instructor to teach private and semi-private lessons in our state-of-the-art, well-established STOTT Pilates Studio. Daytime, weekend, and evening hours are available.

The Pilates Reformer Instructor’s salary is $55-$65 per session. Possible hours range from 5-25 hours per week. The salary offered will ultimately be determined by the scope of the position, the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity.

Requirements
  • Develop individual training plans based on client needs and goals
  • Train clients in individual, duets, and trios sessions (typically 1-hour sessions)
  • Model a strong customer service mindset, creating a pleasant participant experience
  • Share responsibility for equipment cleaning

Qualifications of PILATES Reformer Instructor

  • Has strong customer service a relationship-building skills
  • Is a certified STOTT Matwork and Reformer instructor or apprentice PILATES instructor who is working towards certification.
  • Is trained in Cadillac, Chair, & Barrel
  • Is CPR/AED Certified

JCC Greater Boston is a nonprofit organization with roots in earlier Settlement Houses and Young Men’s Hebrew Associations; JCC Greater Boston today offers a wide range of services and program activities throughout the Greater Boston region (~50,000 individuals annually in 98 communities). The organization provides a variety of programs and services to children and adults in the Greater Boston Jewish community including: four preschools, three day camps, a regional model of Jewish family engagement, a fully equipped fitness and aquatic center, arts and culture classes, performances, lectures, and Jewish holiday celebrations.
