Preschool Teacher

Netivot Shalom Preschool, a celebrated part of the Congregation Netivot Shalom synagogue family, is a learning environment for children ages two through pre-kindergarten. Our full-day program, offering flexible core-hour and extended day schedules, is based on a play-based, emergent curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices.

At Netivot Shalom, we encourage and inspire children to find beauty and wonder in the world around them as they play and learn together. Judaic values guide our practice as we emphasize compassion, peace, and repairing our world.

We have two positions available:

* One full-time teacher who will work 30-40 hours per week

* One part-time assistant/afternoon teacher who will work 25 hours a week with the possibility of full-time

Our compensation is competitive, and we offer health, dental, and vision insurance! Benefits also include paid sick/vacation time, as well as Jewish and some secular holidays.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a team-teaching environment.
• Minimum 12 units in early childhood education or child development
• Fingerprint and TB clearance
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
