We are looking for a passionate Senior Associate, Movement Building to join our team and make a difference. As the Senior Associate, Movement Building, you’ll play a pivotal role in building systems that support the teen movement’s day-to-today ability to mobilize, coaching and mentoring teens in movement-wide leadership roles, and keeping the tools that support our teen leadership current. SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF

As the Senior Associate, Movement Building, here’s some of what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Building and supporting movement-wide systems (i.e., rosters, applications, network data, resources, chapters, international awards, etc.).
  • Building and supporting seasonal or strategic efforts (i.e., specific prospecting or membership contests, International Leadership Network (ILN) projects, ILN planning tools and templates, etc.).
  • Supporting operations for team retreats, I-Board retreats, Presidential transitions, August Execs, Ambassadors exchanges by booking and contracting hotels, preparing travel communications and logistics (nametags, printing and supplies).
  • Building the International Leadership Network (ILN) with teen leaders and staff and working with the staff to set and meet goals for involvement and impact.
  • Running the granting system for Gamechanger Chapter Innovation Grants, inclusive of managing a teen committee, stewarding staff communication, and managing all financial processes, reporting, and transfers.
  • Supporting the International Board’s day-to-day work and tracking systems.
  • Managing the schedule and operations of the Grand Aleph Godol and International N’siah’s travel.
  • Coordinate inventory of AZA, BBG, and BBYO movement swag and ritual items while establishing and maintaining international distribution solutions for BBYO programming worldwide.
  • Stewarding content generation and ongoing updates for the BBYO Toolbox, BBYO Program Bank, and other key movement platforms.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

  • Abilities
    • Excellent public speaking, writing and communication skills.
    • Proven record of fostering deep relationships with an array of diverse constituents.  
    • Flexibility to travel on an as needed basis – including international travel – 15-20% of the year.
    • Ability to support BBYO’s global engagement business as well as attend in-person core BBYO annual moments like Staff. Conferences, International Convention, Summer Experiences, August Execs, and Ambassadors missions.
  • Experience
    • 1-3 years of experience working with teens and university students in a formal or informal experiential environment.
    • Ability to campaign and organize a movement.
    • Experience with project management and multi-tasking.
    • Experience with event logistics, operations and budgeting. 
  • Education
    • A bachelor's degree or higher.
