Cafe Staff (Multiple Positions Available)

The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco draws on the rich resources of thousands of years of Jewish civilization to create delightful experiences that help individuals and families of every description to live lives of purpose and meaning. Tens of thousands of people come through our doors each year to engage in lifelong learning, express themselves creatively, work toward holistic wellbeing and gather for celebration and connection. We have three preschools, afterschool and summer programs for youth through high school, a renowned artist and lecture series, a state-of-the-art fitness center, health programs for older adults, and events for all occasions. We have a staff of hundreds of friendly, dedicated, thoughtful and fun individuals, and we are in an exciting growth phase with our fundraising team.

The JCCSF Café has immediate openings for full-time Baristas, Cashiers, Bussers  to provide excellent customer service while making coffee, utilizing cash registers, restocking food cases, and keeping the café clean and organized.

• Prior experience helpful. Training available.
• Experience in a customer service and/or catering position preferred.
• Great customer service attitude.
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen personnel, and customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for up to five hours, with breaks.
• Ability to learn to use a point of sale computer system.
• Flexible schedule a must.

Must be available to work day, evening, or weekend shifts.

Part time with opportunities for extra hours.
