Overview:

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is currently seeking a full-time bilingual (English/Spanish) Clinician to join our school-based mental health team in Yonkers.  This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing vital mental health services directly within a school setting. 


The salary range is $65,000-$75,000.  We offer an additional $5,000 for candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish.

 

Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing direct clinical services to children and families within the school environment.
  • Maintaining accurate case records, completing insurance forms, and handling required statistical and administrative data, including monthly reports and surveys.
  • Building and nurturing collaborative relationships with families, school staff, and other community and county service providers.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.


Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • An MSW and a valid License to practice Social Work in the State of New York. 
  • Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective and collaborative partnerships with school and community partners.
