As a Community Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in building community and driving results by diving deep into Rocky Mountain Region and Mid-American Region, cultivating strong talent, aligning resources, and driving growth. SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF
As a Community Director, responsibilities will include:

Managing the health and viability of region, its programming and relationships.

Deploying staff strategically to sustain activities across geographies.

Leading the team to achieve goals around membership and experiences, and participation.

Hiring, training and supervision of all full-time BBYO teammates in their area.

Developing direct reports with an expectation of high performance and promotion.

Ensuring chapter and regional program is of the highest caliber.

Serving as the final arbiter on compliance, discipline issues and parent concerns.

Seeking out and develop relationships with parents, alumni and community partners to mobilize more people to grow BBYO, and drive metrics.

Analyzing and tracking data to drive decision making

Building a strong culture aligned with BBYO’s Culture Credo

Participating in organizational projects, teams, and summer programs as assigned to expand the movement and strengthen teen leadership.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

Abilities: Experience with youth or teens is preferred

Experience: 7+ years of work experience
-
Education: A bachelor's degree or higher
-
Management experience preferred.

Must reside in the Denver, CO metro area.

Ability to travel as needed throughout the RMR and MAR regions, to organization-wide events and to staff a summer leadership program at a location in the U.S. for 2-3 weeks each summer.

Ability to work non-traditional hours (some nights and weekends) when teens are available
-
Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $83,000
