How you can make a bigger difference: 

 

Under the direction of the Director of Corporate Compliance, the Corporate Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing support to Corporate Compliance matters including investigations, training, audits and the daily operations of the Corporate Compliance department. The Corporate Compliance Coordinator role is a hybrid role and requires some in-person work (i.e., investigations, audits and team meetings).  This role also works in collaboration with the Quality & Transformation department.

 

Some responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manages and tracks all regulatory corrective actions and implementation, including collaborating with program staff to develop plans of corrective action (POCA’s) in response to audits and allegations, managing tracking databases and analyzing the data for trends and reporting
  • Conducts Corporate Compliance audits in accordance with Compliance audit plan
  • Conducts Incident Investigations
  • Review enrollees Medicaid status, and provide, support and training to ensure program maximizes revenue
  • Compile and distribute monthly scorecard reports to Division staff and support programs to identify documentation trends, and support ongoing performance improvement efforts.
  • Perform monthly data uploads into NYC CoC data warehouse for HUD-funded programs
  • Support agency staff in interpreting OMH, Justice Center, HUD and DOHMH regulations
  • Inform quarterly evaluation process for HUD-funded programs with NYC Continuum of Care
  • Support submission of HUD Annual Performance Reports for HUD-funded programs
  • Compile data quality reports from Foothold AWARDS to ensure programs follow through with updates
  • Support and lead continuous quality improvement projects as assigned, using Lean Six Sigma tools/concepts
  • Identify opportunities for improvement using a data-informed approach
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

TO QUALIFY:

  • Must have demonstrated interpersonal skills, working with people at all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work independently
  • Ability to handle and communicate sensitive information with tact and discretion
  • Creative problem-solving skills with solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to stay on task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, planning, and tracking skill
  • Ability to quickly build and maintain strong, relationships
  • At least 1-3 years prior healthcare compliance experience working in adult/children services programs.
  • Prior experience in investigative techniques, procedures and/or program auditing preferred.
  • Prior experience in interpretation of regulation and/or policy development and implementation preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of OPWDD/OMH/OCFS/ACS/OCFS regulations.
