About the role: 

We are seeking motivated and experienced Prep Cook to join our team in The Kitchen at Olive Branch.  This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for food quality and safety.

What you'll do: 

• Food Preparation: Prepare and serve fresh food items (such as deli meats, salads, sandwiches, and hot meals) according to customer orders and store standards.
• Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensure that all food items are handled, prepared, and stored following health and safety regulations. Maintain clean and sanitized workstations, equipment, and utensils.
• Compliance: Adhere to store policies, including food safety, sanitation, and occupational health and safety procedures.
• Quality Control: Check product quality, expiration dates, and presentation to ensure freshness and appeal.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Executive Chef and other team members to ensure the food service area runs smoothly, and assist in other areas as needed (such as cleaning or restocking supplies).

• Ability to follow specific instructions to adhere to kosher law of food handling 

• Experience in grocery retail is preferred
