The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center (JCC) is a non-profit social service agency serving Milwaukee at 6 sites through 18 unique service areas including: fitness, aquatics, early childhood education, day & overnight camps, arts & culture, and an emergency food pantry.

Continue your journey to a career in the health and fitness field with the 16 week (40 hours/week) internship at the JCC. We provide our members with a unique experience focusing on long term health and wellness. Our functional coaching atmosphere provides a teaching environment for our members and employees. Join the health, recreation and fitness team at the JCC and begin accumulating tools that will last your entire career.
Required Experiences
Junior or senior status pursuing a BS/BA degree in kinesiology, exercise science or a similar field
Completed course work in anatomy, exercise physiology and basic exercise testing and prescription
Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification or the ability to become certified
Experience using Word and Excel
Past customer service experience
Has or pursuing a personal training, group fitness or health coach certification through an accredited organization
