The Food and Nutrition Department on the Sarah Neuman campus is seeking a full time Food Service Supervisor to join their team! This role will sit in the Westchester location.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise workers engaged in the preparation and service of food.
- Assign and coordinate work assignments to promote efficiency of operations.
- Conduct daily meal rounds; supervise serving of meals.
- Inspects kitchen and dining areas to ensure regulatory standards are met.
- Prepares work schedules and evaluates job performance of employees.
- Interview, select, or hire new employees.
- Implement and maintain an effective orientation and on the job training for all employees.
- Organize and distribute daily catering functions.
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with regulatory agency.

- Minimum of at least (2) years experience in the Food Service Supervisory position and/ or graduate of an approved 120 hour supervisory or Dietary Managerial Program.
- Knowledgeable about health codes
- Good communication and interpersonal Skills.
- One year experience in Food Service or Food Prep in a health care setting
- Previous geriatric experience preferred
- Shifts are 7am- 3pm,11am-7pm, 3pm-7pm
- Every other weekend offs
