Please note that this job is a contracted position. This person will be contracted at a rate between $5,750 - $6,000/month.

Fall / Early Winter Support Needs: September 9, 2024 – February 28, 2025

Position Summary: As the interim Senior Manager for BBYO Movement Experience, you will be responsible for executing a recruitment plan to enroll Jewish teens in 8th – 12th grade for our BBYO Passport summer 2025 programs as well as supporting our customer service department. In addition, you will be responsible for planning and executing IC’s AZAA/BBGG program. This role collaborates closely with our passport operations team, strategizing and implementing recruitment initiatives—both in-person and virtual—to meet enrollment goals and extend our reach within target regions and communities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales/program recruitment, preferably in the youth travel or education sector.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent program planning, communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to regions about 1-2 times a month and travel to International Convention

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer Service

  • Analyze past summer data to identify leads from canceled, waitlisted, and registered families for 2025.
  • Respond to BBYO Summer inbox emails and calls within 24-48 hours.
  • Follow up with payment and form inquiries

Summer Program Recruitment

  • Manage BBYO’s Moves Managemdent System (CRM) by updating weekly registration data.
  • Collaborate with operations & marketing to update SharePoint Recruitment page with trip details, dates, prices, sessions, and marketing materials.
  • Schedule and manage Zoom and in-person recruitment sessions
  • Identify recruitment channels including staff, Passport alumni, communities, and alumni families.
  • Research and staff in-person summer fairs targeting high school-age teens.
  • Map out and schedule in-person recruitment sessions within partner communities and alumni homes.
  • Coordinate BBYO staff-led sessions in various locations such as JCCs, private schools, BBYO chapters, and Passport alumni homes.
  • Maintain a recruitment schedule using Calendly for Customer Service team calls.
  • Conduct program recruitment calls daily with follow-up touchpoints.
  • Track leads and maintains communication with prospective families.
  • Collaborate with Community Impact department for personalized program presentations.

Partnership Building and Collaboration

  • Liaise with the Community Impact team to align recruitment efforts with organizational events.
  • Establish partnerships with referral services and explore collaboration with Jewish and camp-related groups on social media.
  • Explore networking events in the teen travel/camp sphere for potential attendance or advertisement opportunities.

International Convention AZAA/BBGG Program Lead

  • Confirm athletic venue(s), with BBYO approval.
  • Plan sports recreational schedule for competitive/rec play for up to 1000 teens
  • Plan workshops with instructors, nutritionists, etc.
  • Recruit 5 brand pop-ups for the event
  • Meeting deadlines in the IC production schedule
  • Incorporate Jewish element to experience
  • Manage a planning team and an onsite team
  • Assign staff duties to on-site team provided
  • Manage On-Site departures
  • On-Site Services at International Convention 2025 in Denver, Colorado
  • Responsible for ordering and inventorying supplies
  • Pack supplies at the end of Convention
  • Attend one site visit to Denver ahead of convention coinciding with current planned BBYO dates of October 2024
  • Attend all required staff trainings both virtually and on-site
  • Other duties at IC as assigned after AZAA/BBGG
