IT Data Internship—Paid

IT Data 2024 Internship 10-19 hours a week!  Flexibility to work around your school schedule! 

Hourly rate: $15.00 (Will comply with any state wage requirements)

We’re looking for an intern to join the Systems and Technology Team with availability through February 2025 with a possible extension though mid 2025. The ideal candidate can work independently, is hardworking and eager to learn. We will work with your college schedule!

We are the Jewish community’s largest and fastest growing pluralistic platform for reaching and inspiring Jewish teens, built on 100 years of storied history. We do this challenging and invigorating work through our partners in more than 725 local, teen-led chapters across nearly 60 countries, at hundreds of weekend retreats during the school year and across a rapidly growing suite of global exchanges, campaigns and movement initiatives all year-round. Over the summer, we run dozens of immersive experiences including extensive Israel travel, missions and community tours across six continents, and myriad leadership camps.  The IT Data internship is ideal for a college student studying IT, computer science, business (or any related field) who wants to contribute creatively to a global organization with a growing audience of over 80,000 teens worldwide. 

What you’ll get to do as an IT Intern: 

  • Implement processes for data collection, cleanup, maintenance, analysis, and validation for organization wide data. 
  • Manage a proactive approach to the data quality of the Membership and Donor databases including: 
  • Consistent review of duplicate records 
  • Usage of multiple data sources to investigate and update incorrect or incomplete data points 
  • Working with QC reports to identify and correct data issues  
  • Perform frequent imports and uploads of other key person and event attendance data. 
  • Assist with creation of forms to collect event registrations and personal information 
  • Update design of CRM 
  • Review and update, as necessary, documentation of all data entry procedures and processes. 
  • Assist with the creation of training materials, communicating training on the system, and resolution of system and process questions.  

Requirements:

  • High level proficiency with PCs and Microsoft OS. 
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook. 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience with CRM systems and data entry a must. Experience with Salesforce a plus. 
  • Availability to work 10 – 19 hours per week.  This is a part time internship. 
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship
