Overview:

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient mental health clinic in Yonkers, NY. This full-time, hybrid position has a salary range of $46,000-$53,000.


 

Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Take vital signs and complete general health monitoring
  • Screen for psychiatric, substance abuse, and medical problems
  • Collect urine drug screen and breathalyzer test results
  • Administer medications delivered through intramuscular injections
  • Complete prior authorizations for specific mediations when prescribed
  • Keep electronic health record up to date with lab results and medical reports from outside facilities
  • Receive and manage medication refill requests
  • Assist with scheduling psychiatric appointments as needed
  • Coordinate care with outside pharmacies and providers
  • Assist with telepsychiatry
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience working in mental health
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
