What You’ll do

 

As a Marketing Business Analyst you will be playing a critical role in driving data-driven decision making and providing insights into the marketing process. This position is responsible for generating reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends to support marketing strategies. Additionally, the Marketing Business Analyst focuses on understanding and optimizing the Loyalty program customer base and collaborating with media partners to ensure the quality and direction of Rural King's advertisements. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

  • Generate Relevant Reports:
    • Develop and produce reports on various aspects of the marketing process, such as campaign performance, customer acquisition and retention, channel effectiveness, and ROI.
    • Utilize marketing analytics tools and platforms to gather, analyze, and visualize data to support decision making and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Provide Insights into the Loyalty Program Customer Base:
    • Analyze customer data from the Loyalty program to identify key customer segments, behavior patterns, and preferences.
    • Extract actionable insights and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies and drive customer engagement, acquisition, and retention.
  • Maintain Record of Marketing Actions and Historical Events:
    • Monitor and maintain a comprehensive database of marketing actions, historical events, and trends, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    • Conduct regular data audits to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement in data collection and management processes.
  • Provide Insights and Reporting for online business and marketing performance
    • Collaborate with online site team to develop and produce reporting as needed
  • Collaborate with Media Partners:
    • Act as a liaison between Rural King and media partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
    • Attend meetings with media partners to discuss advertising strategies, campaign performance, and quality control measures.
    • Provide guidance and feedback to media partners to align advertising efforts with Rural King's brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Qualities for Success

 

  • At least 1 year of relative experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient in marketing analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, CRM systems).
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with SQL and data querying languages.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
