Member Experience Associate

10 – 25 hours/week – potential nights and weekends


At the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) we take pride in being a thriving, dynamic, and ever-evolving organization dedicated to serving over 60,000 people annually. Our modern, multi-purpose Zaban Campus, nestled on 52 acres in Dunwoody, is a haven where people from all generations and walks of life come together.

We're seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team, offering flexible hours (10-30 hours per week) that may include evenings and weekends. The Member Experience Associate role is not just about operating the front desk; it’s about creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every person feel valued from the moment they step through our doors.

Your responsibilities will include:

    Providing exceptional customer service to all visitors, including members, guests, and staff, both in person and over the phone. This entails greeting, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring access control and security measures are upheld.

    Familiarizing yourself with our programs and facilities to effectively assist customers. This involves checking in members and guests, communicating membership benefits, and facilitating ticket sales.

    Cultivating strong relationships with our regular patrons through personalized communication and follow-up.

    Demonstrating flexibility by assisting other departments when necessary, managing administrative tasks, and responding to emergencies in a professional manner.

    Upholding high standards of professionalism, including strong interpersonal skills, technological proficiency, and adept multitasking abilities.

    Being adaptable to outdoor work requirements and demonstrating effective conflict resolution skills.


Preferred Qualifications: 

    Excellent interpersonal skills to make each interaction memorable and helpful.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a willingness to learn new systems.

    Strong executive functioning skills; multitasking and prioritizing while maintaining attention to detail.

    Strong conflict resolution skills 

    A willingness to cross-train and take on new challenges with enthusiasm!
