LOCATION
DOROT is headquartered on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and the team works on a hybrid schedule. The Program Administrator, Volunteer Services will be expected to work in the office 2 days per week (currently Mondays and Wednesdays, but subject to change) and as business needs require. All staff members are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER SERVICES (VS) DEPARTMENT
The Volunteer Services department plays a crucial role in fulfilling DOROT’s mission by facilitating meaningful connections between older adults and volunteers. The department oversees all aspects of volunteer management systems and policies, recruitment, orientation, onboarding, training, recognition, and overall volunteer statistics and outcomes to support DOROT’s efforts to measure program impact. The VS portfolio also includes a variety of programs such as Package Delivery, Cemetery Visits, Response Team, Tech Coaching and Caring Calls.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Manager of Occasional Visiting Programs, the Program Administrator is a multi-functional position that performs a combination of administrative and programmatic responsibilities that focuses primarily on Caring Calls and Response Team which foster vital one-on-one social and supportive connections between older adults and adult volunteers. This position will help coordinate and implement key components of these occasional volunteer programs and may also be required to contribute to any of the other programs within Volunteer Services, based on the needs of the department and the overall goals of the VS department.

This position is non-exempt, and candidates can expect an annualized base salary between $42,000-$48,000 commensurate with experience.
