About You

 

You are a highly strategic, organized, creative, and experienced manager who thrives off innovating and implementing new processes and procedures. You have a can-do attitude, a customer-service approach, and enjoy leading a team and working collaboratively. 

Position Overview: The Sr. Development Operations Associate will be responsible for the comprehensive management and coordination of all pre-sale components for Small Projects and the Adopt-A-Unit programs offered by FIDF. This role will involve overseeing project and program availability, marketing collateral, and all financial aspects throughout project lifecycles.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio Availability Management:

a. Management of a Sales Portfolio of over $3.5M Dollars including 115 Small Projects

b. Management of a Sales Portfolio of $7.8M Dollars of Unit Adoptions including 81 Brigade components and 80 battalions.

c. Maintain and update the availability list for all small projects, furnishings, and Adopt-A-Unit programs.

2. Fundraising Support and Marketing Collateral Management:

a. Provide Comprehensive Fundraising Support to FIDF’s 24 Chapters to include

i. Managing all marketing collateral related to the Small Project and Adopt-A-Unit Program Portfolios to ensure accurate representation and promotion of the IDF.

ii. Translate documents and articles from Hebrew to English to facilitate accurate representation of project and program details, which can be used for marketing needs.

iii. Maintain an operational understanding of the IDF, its units, and it’s functions to provide fundraising staff with the tools and knowledge to market effectively.

3. Operational Understanding:

a. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of IDF bases, their units, and functions.

4. Donor Services Handoff and Renewal Coordination:

a. Hand off any sold or adopted project or program to the Donor Services Team to facilitate donor gratitude and recognition.

b. Collaborate with chapters to ensure timely renewal of Unit adoptions and previously supported small projects, maintaining continuity in donor engagement and support.

5. Adapt A Team Player Attitude:

a. Assist with all other tasks as needed


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.

2. Proven experience in project management, customer service, nonprofit administration, or a related role.

3. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

6. Proficiency in English and Hebrew.

7. Commitment to the mission and values of FIDF.
