The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County is currently seeking a Senior Foundation Accountant. This position will support the Director of Finance, Foundation and is primarily responsible for Foundation gift and endowment accounting, financial reporting, performing complex accounting and analytical functions with a high degree of accuracy, accountability, and confidentiality.
The ideal candidate has the ability to interact with donors, Finance and Foundation staff as well as process the timely recording of various donor restricted gifts, donor advised fund (DAF) grants, contributions, insurance and annuity payments. Analyze and prepare monthly Foundation financial reports and statements, including Foundation activity recorded to other entities. Tracking of planned giving commitments including estate notes, charitable gift annuities (CGAs) funds held in trust, and other planned giving vehicles. This position will be responsible for administrative tasks including the preparation of communications and statements for living endowment fund holders.
