Senior Regional Directors play a key role in the success of BBYO by working closely with staff and leadership teens to grow membership, train teen leaders, deepen support for BBYO in the community and lead initiatives that produce meaningful Jewish experiences. This is an amazing opportunity to make an impact in the local Jewish community by engaging with and inspiring Jewish teens to do great things, gain leadership skills, and give back to their community.

What you’ll get to do as our Senior Regional Director:

  • Manage team of professional staff and teen leaders to create a calendar of impactful, fun and dynamic programs for Jewish teens in Dallas, Fort Worth, Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
  • Empower and inspire teens through mentorship, coaching and leadership training.
  • Recruit, train and support volunteers in each city.
  • Drive a member recruitment process that expands the pipeline of prospects, aligns stakeholders, and prepares teens to invite other teens to join
  • Coordinate and execute two large scale regional conventions each year and a calendar of engaging community-wide
  • Manage program budget and provide visionary oversight of regional and local strategy towards achieving metrics.
  • Innovate by executing new and noteworthy programming and initiatives in the region.
  • Develop relationships with parents, alumni and community partners to mobilize more people to support BBYO.
  • Lead grassroots regional fundraising efforts.
  • Participate in organizational projects, teams, and summer programs as assigned to expand the movement and strengthen teen
  • Attend summer camp (but this time you’re in charge!) as you lead teen leadership

What you’ll learn as our Senior Regional Director:

  • Global thinking as you work with an international team across organizational and geographic boundaries.
  • Relationship building as you network with and travel to other BBYO.

Role Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Management experience, and experience leading teams and projects strongly preferred.
  • Event planning experience is preferred.
  • Experience with youth or teens is preferred.
  • Ability to work in-person and be present regularly in Dallas, TX.
  • Ability to travel as needed throughout the region, to Staff Conference and International Convention, and to staff a summer leadership program at a location in the US for 2-3 weeks each summer.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the US without holding a visa or sponsorship.
