About us
For over 145 years, Leeds Jewish Welfare Board has provided support the Jewish community and North Leeds community as one of North Leeds’ most established Social Care Charities. Our vision is to positively change lives and we do this by delivering an extensive range of community support and registered care services to over 1,000 people every month.
As part of our registered care services, we run three Kosher, residential homes for people with learning disabilities. All three homes are well-established with a "Good" CQC rating and excellent reputation.
Role Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Support Worker will a UK valid driving licence who wants to help us make a difference to our service users’ lives. Our homes are busy and always filled with activities that enable our service users to live active and independent lives.
Working pattern will be 5/7 which will include weekends and bank holidays. You may be required to undertake sleep in duties, for which an additional allowance is paid. The ideal candidate will therefore need to be flexible, fun, supportive and confident driving our residents to and from appointments/ activities.
